How we rate places

The Yesgo score from 0 to 100 combines five open criteria. Partners cannot pay for a better verdict, and every fact on a place page names its source.

Five criteria

People · 25%How many travellers choose the place: the number of tours and reviews in partner catalogues. These numbers change daily, so we use them for the score but never show them as facts.
Interest · 25%How much people look for it: yearly views of the Wikipedia articles in English and Russian.
Value per hour · 20%Impressions per hour: interest against the time you need on site. A short, strong visit scores higher.
Price · 15%Free scores 100. Paid entry scores lower; unverified prices are counted conservatively.
Convenience · 15%Distance from the main tourist area and how easy it is to get there.

Three verdicts

Where the facts come from

Wikidata and Wikipedia — dates, sizes, UNESCO status; official websites — opening hours and prices; Open-Meteo — climate. Only stable facts: no view counters or popularity figures on pages. Prices we have not confirmed on an official site are marked “verifying”.

How the route is built

We start with the strongest place, then go to the nearest one. Up to 1.3 km we walk (roads are about 1.3× the straight line, 4.5 km/h); further — transport or taxi: 15 minutes plus 3 minutes per km. Lunch after 12:30, a break every 2.5 hours, the day ends by 19:00; whatever does not fit moves to the next day.
